Skillet S’mores

In the Spring of 2020, during the global COVID pandemic, the Boy Scouts of America promoted a “National Camp-In” encouraging scouts to camp out in their backyards. Throughout the weekend, they hosted a number of YouTube Live events, featuring guest speakers, activities, and other ways to keep scouts engaged during a time when most Scout Troops and Cub Scout Packs had otherwise shutdown.

During the programming, a Scout was featured cooking “Skillet S’mores’. We found the recipe and made the dish for ourselves.

Note: please allow time for the chocolate to cool a bit before eating! Excited to try the dessert, Jennifer burned the roof of her mouth with this sweet, chocolatey, napalm! 🙂
