Starbucks Medicine Ball

One year, at Christmas time, we were celebrating with the Tripp family at Bomi’s house. As we were getting ready to leave, I had mentioned that I was feeling a cold coming on: congestion, sore throat, etc. My aunt Christiane asked if we had a minute before we needed to leave. She disappeared and then returned a few minutes later with a warm drink for me to take on our drive home. She called it as a “Medicine Ball”, and described it as a drink on the “secret” menu at Starbucks. I was immediately sold as fan! It provided instant relief to my symptoms and tasted delicious!

As I looked up this “secret” drink, I found that Starbucks does indeed have a “secret” menu of beverages, or more preciously, preparations of their beverages. The Medicine Ball is a fan favorite and you will find many copycat recipes available, such as this one.
